Welcome to our schools. Middlezoy and Othery are two, small schools situated in the heart of the beautiful Somerset Levels. 

Our ethos is "To be the best we can be", whilst developing a love of learning and inspiring our children to become life-long learners.  Our high standards for teaching and learning, our broad and balanced curriculum and wide range of enrichment opportunities help ensure that our children flourish. We pride ourselves on our strong pastoral care and ethos where every child is cared for and valued. Our children are happy and enthusiastic learners who show compassion and respect to each other.

Our aim is for our children leave us as happy, confident, independent individuals with a positive outlook on life and resilience to take on their next challenge.

Since September 2023, we have all been situated at the Othery School site. This will be for an initial trial of one year, offering increased opportunity for whole school activities and learning. Registration for all pupils is at 8:45 a.m. and afternoon registration is at 1:00 p.m. The school day ends for all pupils at 3:15 p.m.
