Remembrance Day
Fri 10 Nov 2023This morning, the whole school took part in a 2 minute silence to honour and remember those who lost their lives in World War 1 and the conflicts that have followed.
The children have been learning about Remembrance Day and have created wreaths which will be laid at the service being held at St. Michael's Church. Once again, all our children showed respect and stood silently throughout. Unicorn class then stood their poppies in the flowerbed, next to the cascade of nearly 400 poppies kindly crocheted by Clare Rossiter and donated to our school.

Giles spoke to the children in assembly about his journey from being in Primary School to travelling around the world playing football for England. Such an inspiring story that I am sure the children will be able to share with you.
Giles has joined Mr Hughes for everyone's PE lesson today where they are having a special focus day linked to Football skills.
